Our Reception Team

Assisting you and your pets in Reception is an outstanding trio of dedicated, experienced, sensible and sensitive Client Care Coordinators. Faith Bridges, Amy Boothroyd and Dolly Bains have over 30 years of experience ‘front of house’ in vet clinics, and animal charities. As well as the people you see, several more are off site, answering the telephone, organising Animal Health Certificates, assisting with repeat prescriptions and helping you with insurance claims. They are supported by the RVN’s who provide practical veterinary advice.

Our Testimonials

I was saddened to find out that my precious little pomchi Bella had damaged her tooth while biting a Billy and Margot venison bone. I was given quick and helpful advice from the vet. Bella was booked in for her surgery very quickly and with ease. Her vet Dr Joanna Jerjis was truly amazing. So kind, knowledgable and I knew my dog was in good hands. The nurses and reception staff were all so helpful and the whole team contributed to making Bella feel safe and happy before and after her surgery. Highly recommend!!

My dog is quite anxious, and taking him to the vet can be so frustrating as he won’t let anyone touch / examine him. Natalia has been so amazing with him, I feel so lucky to have found her. She really cares about him and thinks ahead of how to accommodate him and support him when he is sick. She is always extremely responsive and thinks outside the box when needed. Having a rescue dog can be so scary from time to time and I can’t stress enough how grateful I am to have her as my dog’s vet.

Chop is our English Bulldog and she is quite lazy, but she is always enthusiastic to come along to see everyone at The London Veterinary Medicine Clinic as they are all so kind and make anything she needs doing an easy task. The Clinic keeps us informed of all the things we need to do to keep our dog healthy and when, in the past, she has had medical procedures, talk us through the options best for her. Thank you for your help!

In my view leaders in their profession. They are highly skilled, caring, understanding and efficient. They gave repeated support during our dog’s recent illness, although, at her age of 14, it was terminal

The clinic is very caring and accommodating from the vets to the reception team. Today, they saw us on very short notice after our dog was poorly overnight. The care and attention is excellent and genuine. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our dog.

Faith Bridges
Client Care Coordinator

Faith, a West Londoner and a bit of a football obsessive, has eight years of veterinary reception experience most of it at a colleague’s clinic in Ealing. Her extensive know how and familiarity with what goes on at vet clinics means  if she can’t answer your question she knows who within the clinic can. Until unexpected circumstances intervened Faith trained as a veterinary nurse so she also has excellent skills handling dogs and cats and dispensing medicines. When you meet Faith you may ask her if other people say that her hair reminds them of Rapunzel. If you do, welcome to the majority! Faith is here to help get you answers to your enquiries.

Dolly Bains

Client Care Coordinator

Reception at York Street faces south and Dolly adds ever more brightness to the area. Before joining us charming and bubbly Dolly accumulated over a decade of reception experience with the PDSA (People Dispensary for Sick Animals) and The Cinnamon Trust (a wonderful charity that helps keep ill and elderly people together with their pets as long as possible). Dolly’s family home is filled with cats, dogs, bunnies and a gentle, inquisitive bearded dragon. (That’s a small reptile.) Like so many others at York Street, Dolly helps fund raise for good causes including a 26 mile walk for cancer research. Dolly is here to help with your queries. She encourages you to please drop by and say hello.
