At the London Vet Clinic for over 50 years we have avoided gimmicks and have always had a list of ethical don’ts. We don’t have targets to meet. We don’t over prescribe parasite control, antibiotic or other medicines. We don’t over vaccinate. We don’t pay low salaries that depend on upselling. We don’t use loss leaders to hook you in.
We do pay our vets, vet nurses and admin staff decent wages appropriate for their experienced skills and warm dedication, We provide you and your companions with kind, safe care and excellent value. Our prices reflect these values and the quality of the services we provide both you and your pets.
The following price ranges all include VAT at 20 percent. We of course are here to talk with you about treatment options and provide estimates before undertaking any diagnostics or treatments.

The cost of dental care varies with your pet’s weight, the severity of plaque on the teeth and whether teeth need removing. These prices are for uncomplicated scaling and polishing and the simple removal of very loose teeth. Your vet will advise you and give you a quote according to your pet’s age and circumstances. We may recommended pre-anaesthetic blood tests or intravenous fluids given while mouth disease is attended to.
with simple, non-surgical removal of loose teeth
If you invest in private health care you are already familiar with the costs of lab tests. We use identical equipment to do blood and urine tests and video microscopic examinations. The only significant difference is that we must add 20 percent VAT to the charges That’s why veterinary lab tests may be as much as 20 percent costlier than ones your doctor arranges for you.
Cats meeting outdoor cats may be exposed to Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). When cats are vaccinated against FeLV there is an additional fee of £34.54
We are regularly inspected by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, for example to ensure that we keep records of the temperatures in our biological fridges, on the dispensary’s shelves and in our examination rooms. We safely destroy dated drugs or products exposed to out of range temperatures. To cover these costs we have a mark-up of 35 percent on vaccines, parasite control treatments and food and up to 50 percent on prescription medicines.
While it is convenient to collect medicines when you visit they may be cheaper from online pharmacies. The paperwork for written prescriptions takes much longer to complete than dispensing so there is a charge.

A special thank you to Dr. Adam Rouan for the incredible care he gave my 7-month-old kitten.
She had quite a few issues, and Adam went above and beyond to figure out the best treatment with minimal side effects. This was particularly important since my kitten was so small at the time, and many medications carried risks. He was so patient and thorough, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about the animals he looks after. I am very grateful that he treats her with so much care, has attention to detail and a sincere desire to help. And I think my adorable kitten stole his heart.
Also, a big thank you to the lovely ladies at reception, Serena and Jasmin, who are always so friendly and helpful, making every visit much easier and nurse Jessica with her sweet little Poppy that brightens everyone’s day.
You’ve all been amazing—thank you so much!
I took Minna, my 18 years old rescue dog to London Vet Clinic, to see Dr Bruce Fogle for a dental consultation, on 16th July 2024. Minna was attacked a few years ago and was severely traumatised. Visits to vets cause great anxiety in her. Instead of waiting inside, we sat on a chair outside, arranged by the considerate and kind staff in front of the clinic, and waited for our turn. Dr Fogle came out promptly, fully knowledgeable about Minna’s past, and examined her mouth outside where we were comfortably sitting. By examining Minna outside instead of in the consultation room he saved Minna from growing more anxious. He is the most CARING, confident and accommodating vet I have ever met and I could ever meet. The advice we were given was fully satisfactory and thoroughly favouring an old dog’s needs.
It was an honour to meet Dr Fogle.
We send him and his wonderful staff our heartfelt thanks.
I have been to many vets over the 15 years I’ve had dogs, and this place is by far the BEST place I have taken my dogs. The doctor I saw was Helen, and she was absolutely incredible. Lola’s check-up lasted 30 minutes, and every question I had was answered, every issue addressed, and Lola had a thorough check-up done. All healthy and good. The appointment didn’t feel rushed AT ALL, and I felt very comfortable and sensed a good vibe the whole time I was there.
I was never forced to give unnecessary vaccines to my dog, buy dog food from them, or get a dirty look when I told her my 8-year-old was not spayed. I find this is very common with many vets I’ve visited, which really puts me off. I find myself looking for a new vet every time they try to force their beliefs onto me and not respect my decision. I can already sense that I won’t be changing vets again anytime soon!
All the staff there were polite, kind, and so lovely. Lola walked away with a tummy full of treats too, so she wasn’t complaining either.
I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a place to take their dog and who genuinely cares about their dog’s health.
Bruce Fogle and his team are amazing vets. Have been able to diagnose even esoteric problems like our Westie who delveloped tremors (temporarily) after eating ivy…. and providing very compassionate care when we have had to say good bye to our beloved friend. Absolutely the best.
When we had to let our beautiful dog Jazz go, the care & compassion shown by everyone at this clinic was beyond amazing. I will be forever grateful for the care they gave to Jazz for nearly 15 years. Highly recommend this practice
The clinic is very caring and accommodating from the vets to the reception team. Today, they saw us on very short notice after our dog was poorly overnight. The care and attention is excellent and genuine. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our dog.
