Veterinary involvement is essential to diagnose and treat any underlying medical conditions that may be contributing to behavioural concerns. Your patient will remain under your primary veterinary care throughout the process.
Following the behaviour assessment, we will provide the client with a recommended treatment and follow-up plan. We will also send your practice a copy of the assessment report, including any recommendations for further diagnostics, treatment, or ongoing management to be carried out by your clinic.
Where medication may be beneficial as part of the behaviour treatment plan, we will ask you to undertake the appropriate veterinary examination and, where clinically appropriate, prescribe and monitor the recommended medication.
