Export Health Certificate (EHC)

Export Health Certificate (EHC) - Outside EU Application Form

A new EHC is needed for each visit abroad. It is valid only for the country named in the certificate and only for a specific period after its date of issue. The period of validity varies from country to country. A new EHC is needed for each visit abroad.

EHC’s are issued by the APHA (Animal Plant & Health Agency) which is part of DEFRA. All the GP vets at the London Vet Clinic are Official Veterinarians (OVs) and can act on your behalf.

The information we need to complete an EHC is straight forward but collecting and collating it is time consuming. To help us arrange your companion’s EHC, please answer all questions

Please complete one form for each dog or cat you are travelling with and send the forms to us. When we receive your completed documents we will contact you to arrange for payment, which is £350.00 . Once payment is made we will review the information, get back to you if we need more information, apply to the APHA on your behalf, then within the designated time period of your pet’s travel, see you and your companion, check the microchip is working and health is good and give you the completed paperwork.
