Dentistry

Preventing tooth and gum disease is vital and when you visit us we explain how to keep your companion’s mouth, teeth and gums healthy. The reality is, however, that  oral problems are common and because they are we are experienced in and have the sophisticated equipment needed to provide successful care. Dental x-rays are particularly important to help reveal tooth damage below the gum line. Dental extractions when necessary, scaling and polishing, are all time consuming procedures. There are usually two vet nurses assisting the vet with each dental.

Occasionally unusual dental procedures are needed and when they are these can be done at York Street, without the need for travel to a referral hospital by our dentist Peter Kertesz who has over 40 years of experienced in animal dentistry (and who wrote the first textbook on comparative dentistry).

Our Testimonials

When we had to let our beautiful dog Jazz go, the care & compassion shown by everyone at this clinic was beyond amazing. I will be forever grateful for the care they gave to Jazz for nearly 15 years. Highly recommend this practice

My dog is quite anxious, and taking him to the vet can be so frustrating as he won’t let anyone touch / examine him. Natalia has been so amazing with him, I feel so lucky to have found her. She really cares about him and thinks ahead of how to accommodate him and support him when he is sick. She is always extremely responsive and thinks outside the box when needed. Having a rescue dog can be so scary from time to time and I can’t stress enough how grateful I am to have her as my dog’s vet.

I have been with the London Vet Clinic for over 4 years now and they have always provided a great service taking care of Z. I have taken our beloved Pomeranian for vaccinations, consultations and even surgeries such as dental work and spaying. Our experience has always been a positive one. The clinic is safe, clean, and the staff are all very approachable and friendly. They’ve also been very helpful with more everyday advice such as getting me in touch with great grooming services or local dog walkers etc. If you’re looking for the best veterinary clinic in Marylebone- this is it.

Amazing Service. I knew my dog Bella was in the safest hands with Vet Jo. Such a friendly and experienced team. Would highly recommend this clinic. They are the perfect example of how a vet clinic should be, showing pets care and affection while reassuring pet owners in the process. 5 Stars for the team and Dr Jo!
