Welcome to The Behaviour Service At London Vet Clinic

Thank you for visiting the London Vet Clinic Behaviour Service’s information pages.
Behaviour consultations are led by clinical veterinarian and behaviourist, Dr Natalia Aira Bewick MRCVS MSc (CAB). Dr Bewick will support and guide you to a better understanding of your pet’s behaviour. She will help you modify, resolve or manage the concerning behaviours. Your pet’s well-being is at the heart of all our treatment plans.

An update on our behaviour service

Dr Natalia Bewick will be going on maternity leave from July 2026.  During this time, our behaviour serice will be led by Antonella Marsicano, a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) with over 10 years experience.

We are committed to provide the same high standard of care during this transition and we look forward to welcoming you and your pet.

Our Aims Are To

Internal medicine services cover hormonal, gastrointestinal, urinary, haematologic (blood related), respiratory, infectious, and immune-mediated diseases. The facilities at the London Veterinary Clinic are co-ordinated by Grant Petrie.

Consultations

The first behaviour appointment is for 2 hours. Prior to your appointment, please fill out the dog or cat form. It is very detailed and takes time to complete but it gives Antonella essential background information about your pet’s environment, relationships, and past experiences. It is the starting point for developing an individual behaviour management plan for your pet.

The initial appointment fee is £440.00 (£366.67 + VAT). This fee includes a full behaviour report (consisting of assessment, diagnosis, prognosis), and a clear treatment plan. Following your pet’s initial consultation, follow-up sessions may be recommended to support you through treatment. Many pet health insurance plans cover behaviour treatments when provided by a qualified vet.

Consultations are in person or online. You are welcome to choose which option you prefer. For highly fearful or aggressive dogs and all cats, we recommend an online consultation for two main reasons: to avoid unnecessary stress for your pet and to analyse your pet’s behaviour in their own home.

We try to run our appointments on time, so please be aware that if you are late for your appointment, the time Antonella has with you may be shortened. If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible. If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice so that we can offer that time to another pet in need.
